Overview
During my tenure at Barclaycard, I played a pivotal role in revolutionising the customer journey for applying for Transfers & Offers. Focused on simplicity, logic, and unexpected delight, our objective was to reduce cognitive load and create a user-friendly environment where customers not only seamlessly applied for offers but could also revisit and understand their opted-in choices.
Leveraging extensive data analysis, we gained insights into customer behaviour, pain points, and preferences. This foundation informed our strategic decisions, ensuring that the redesigned journey was tailored to the unique needs and expectations of Barclaycard customers.
Comprehensive user research and journey mapping exercises were conducted to understand the nuances of customer interactions. This guided the creation of a simplified yet logical application process that minimised friction and optimised the overall user experience.
As the product designer, my role extended to crafting digital experiences across various platforms, including web apps and native mobile apps. The goal was to maintain consistency in design while catering to the nuances of different devices, ensuring a seamless experience for users across channels.
